Computer Networks in Southeast Asia (CNSEA)

This CNSEA is a series of online seminars with the goal of introducing researchers and industry professionals with technical knowledge of computer networks to SEA. We hope to strengthen and create connections amongst various groups while also providing them with pertinent resources.

In order to assist future work and collaborations, the series seeks to offer three things:

  1. a platform for introducing various research groups in the area;
  2. a collection of resources; and
  3. a schedule of common objectives, difficulties, and aspirations.

CNSEA Virtual Lab Tour

Members of CNSEA can participate in virtual lab tours to showcase their laboratories, learn about each other's research, and explore possibilities for collaboration. The tours will take place on Thursdays, at 15:00 - 16:00 Bangkok time (UTC+7).

Upcoming Virtual Lab Tours:

TBA.

Past Virtual Lab Tours:

 16 November 2023, 15:00-16:00 (UTC+7).

  • Host: Applied Network Technology (ANT), KKU, Thailand.
  • Speaker: Chakchai So-In
  • ANT Laboratory of the College of Computing, Khon Kaen University, was recently founded in 2010 and was once part of the research track of the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Science, established in 1994. ANT focuses on various areas of system research within the college's 9 key research labs, such as computer networks, mobile and wireless technology, high-performance computing, cloud and edge technology, the Internet of Things, cyber security (including blockchain technology), and recently the integration of intelligence and optimization using AI, ML, DL, and RL to those areas. The application can apply directly to the IT industry or IT applications like smart health, smart agriculture, smart cars, smart homes, smart industry, and smart cities. ANT aims to widely collaborate with other institutions and industries to strengthen the research while mainly recruiting master's, doctoral, and postdoctoral students. The application is to adopt the technology for general users through prototyping and software applications at undergraduate levels.
